What a vibe. So interesting. The lighting, the staff, the long narrow multi-story dining spaces. The pizzas were wonderful, for the combination and balance of the toppings but particularly for the flavour and texture of the dough. Mushroom is a pretty much a classic, but this was was certainly done to be interesting and savourable. The choice of wine was throughly enjoyed as well. We booked, and did arrive 30minutes early for our reservation but then we were escorted to the only unset table in the entire restaurant, despite being the first to walk through the door that evening. The bench on the roof was nice but it was a really cold evening, and for some reason it seemed like it was a problem we were there and this might be the only spot for us. Service was just a little odd all round.
The food and staff was really good but unfortunately my whole experience wasn’t a 5 star.
The quality of the food and the ingredients was great but in my case I ordered a pizza which looked very appetizing but it was too spicy to enjoy it. We didn’t book a table in advance and the place is really busy so we had to eat outside and after 20 minutes it started to get cold and windy and we weren’t able to change inside since it was fully booked. Finally, the pizza took 35 minutes to come. I understand that the place was busy but the table that was sitting next to us arrived approximately 25 minutes after us and got their pizza before.
I think I would go again to give it a second chance but if you are interested in going I would strongly recommend to book a table in advance.
They have some of the best pizzas I’ve ever had and the set menu is incredible value. I was shocked by how good the quality of the entrees were. I’ve only ever been on the top level once (don’t know if it’s just specifically for large groups), but I wish it was more of an option to sit up there if you just wanted to because it’s lovely. Overall, great place.
Came here for my son’s birthday dinner. I was looking forward to trying their food. The menu said $50 per head for set menu and they charged us $60.50 each. The first course arrived with no serving utensils. Service was non existent and we had to clear our own plates off the table before the next course arrived. The pizza arrived and all 12 were burnt. Long staircases were hard to get up and when you’ve got people coming down at the same time it can be hazard. I had a trip and scrapped my arm. Our table was on the rooftop and it was raining so some of us got wet and it was an all round miserable experience for what was supposed to be a happy occasion. It was a real disappointment. I don’t recommend this place. Not worth the money. Don’t waste your money here.
Booked the rooftop area for a large function recently and the process has been absolutely amazing, stress free and affordable compared to set menu options around the area.
Staff were very accommodating with menu adjustments, and no one was left hungry or unsatisfied. The bee sting pizza is a must try.
Shoutout to Ken especially with making sure everything went smoothly.
Would definitely come back and recommend
Probably one of the most incredible Italian meals I’ve had. The food was incredible and the service was amazing too. We ordered house bread and tomatoes & cheese to start, both of which were divine. We also the ‘funguy’ and ‘bee sting’ pizzas. Both so amazing. All staff were so kind and personable, will definitely be back :)
I’ve been wanting to go here for couple of months, year due to their hours, I was unable to go until Mardi Gras weekend. I love that they give you sparking water in a big bottle, as soon as you sit down. I ordered the Funguy pizza and the Rocky salad. They were both delicious. The Neapolitan style pizza here is well-made and I like the crust. I sat outside to eat but the inside had a nice atmosphere. Friendly staff and the pizza comes out really fast.
Nice to see this end of Oxford st getting some signes of life.
And the Pizzas here are pretty good, excellent wood fire taste of pizza crust . Nice flavour of Nduja spicy sausage with anchovies…
Fantastic Sopressa salami and little sweet tomato sauce.
The only thing was long wait for the pizza to arrive at the table.
